Arvin News
Happy Sunday,
You may read this every week, or this could be the first time you are checking out our newsletter. Either way, we want you to know we just dropped a new collection of product for the fall. We have not released any new items since February, sometimes that is just how it goes. But this is the best collection we have ever put together. Our standard socks, the crew, ankle, and no-show are all now available in a 3-pack, and our seasonal socks are as clean and beautiful as ever. All of our socks are made in Portugal, using Recover Fibers. We have also added a t-shirt, and sweatshirt category all made in the US using a unique blend of 50% recycled cotton, and 50% organic, or BCI cotton. Lastly, a new 6-panel unstructured cap, also made in the US from pressed wool panels.
We say this is our best collection ever because we have spent a great deal of time to improve the goods by simplifying and re-sourcing our products. We have been working on the development of our Portugal-made socks for more than 2 years, and we believe we have finally gotten it right. We reduced our SKU count, we increased the quality of materials and manufacturing. The apparel is made with a new partner in LA who is trusted by some of the most relevant brands in the world, and the new cap is a classic shape and construction that has been tried and true for 100 years. So yeah, this is our best yet, and honestly, we would put our product up against anyone else in the market. We are making the best (and cleanest) basics on the planet, and we know you will love what we have now. Thanks for checking us out.
Have a great week!

Is Tyler, the Creator Collaborating With Supreme? - Hypebeast
Update: After wheatpastings surfaced earlier this week and Supreme confirmed some caliber of collaboration with the rapper on Instagram, the imprint released a new Tyler, the Creator video on Instagram.
In the clip, Tyler dons the same green box logo T-shirt as he does in the earlier teasers for the collab and discusses his long-lasting ties to Supreme – a brand he’s been shopping ever since he was 16 years old.
“The first thing I got was the peach and mint t-shirt,” he recalls of his first Supreme purchase from the label’s Spring/Summer 2009 range.
“The ill thing about this is: Supreme was like our Louis Vuitton. That was our top-of-the-line sh*t. Especially knowing everyone didn’t have it … Going to school and having that one piece that no one else in the school or school district had made it even more special,” he continues.
“This is such a full circle moment.” 🟥💎

Recycling Is Going Out of Fashion. Why? - FUTURE VVORLD
Let’s just say it: recycling has a bad reputation. Or, at least, a complicated one.
Now, you might be thinking, “Sure – that makes sense. The climate deniers have always hated recycling and everything it stands for!”. And, of course, you wouldn’t be wrong to think that. But it’s also not the full picture. These days, it isn’t just the plastic polluters and emissions dinosaurs who are giving recycling’s reputation a hammering. Across the board, Earth’s erstwhile saviour has fallen out of fashion.
The question is, why? 🗑️♻️
